It is generally best to already be in Sihanoukville on the morning of your ferry to Koh Touch (leaving yourself more time and avoiding any stress, problems, etc.). If you have a long journey to Sihanoukville, it is sometimes better to break the trip up. For example, a private taxi from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville takes 4 hours, so if you have a long flight to Phnom Penh, you should consider spending one night there. From Sihanoukville, you can then take a Ferry Boat to Koh Touch. There are 5 main Ferry Boat services between Sihanoukville and Koh Touch. These are Speed Ferry Cambodia (SFC), Island Speed Boat Cambodia (ISBC), Buva Sea (BS), Angkor Speed Ferry (ASF), and GTVC. (There are also a couple of $5-$10 ‘Slow Boat’ services that take 1.5 – 2.5 hours – These services are not professionally run and are not recommended).
